Install & access

Baselines for Confluence Cloud installs from the Atlassian Marketplace in a couple of clicks and appears under Apps in your Confluence navigation.

Install from the Marketplace

1

Open the listing

Go to the Baselines for Confluence Cloud Marketplace listing and choose Get it now (or Try it free). Pick the Confluence site to install on and confirm.

2

Review the permissions

Baselines requests permission to read and write Confluence content and to act on your behalf so it can snapshot pages, and — when you choose to — publish restored content back to Confluence. A Confluence administrator approves these on install. See Permissions for details.

3

Open the app

Once installed, open Confluence → Apps → Baselines from the left-hand navigation. The app opens on the dashboard, ready for your first baseline.

Where to find it

If you don't see Baselines under Apps, expand the Apps section in the sidebar and look under Your apps. Administrators can also manage the app from Confluence settings → Manage apps.

Who can use it

Any Confluence user who can open the app can create and view baselines. Because a baseline only ever contains content the app can read, users see snapshots of the pages they already have access to. For a summary of what each action requires, see Permissions.
